Kerry Katona hopes to inspire with DOI

Kerry Katona hopes she's inspired the British public with her 'Dancing On Ice' performances.

The reality TV star was voted off the ITV1 show last night (20.01.11) after failing to impress with her latest routine, but admits she is proud of how far she has come and believes her doing well will show other people they can do the same.

Kerry - whose career was in ruins before taking part in 'Dancing On Ice' - told 'Daybreak': "I've had my ups and I've had many, many downs, but I guess that's life in general.

"And hopefully, because I live my life in the public domain, everyone at home who watches my show, or watches 'Dancing On Ice', or who's followed my career - not just my career but my personal life as well - can learn something from it and go, 'You know what? If Kerry 'Chavtastic' Katona can do it', then maybe they can."

While she enjoyed every moment of the show, the mother-of-four - who was partnered by professional skater Dan Whiston - is glad to have left because she felt it was getting too pressurised.

She added to ITV1's 'This Morning': "You know what, I have had a really, really good time. And in a way I'm kind of relieved because the tension backstage is really hotting up. And I think I've come out at the perfect time."

Since Kerry's departure it has been revealed she will not be taking part in the 'Dancing On Ice' live tour but Chloe Madeley, Laura Hamilton, Johnson Beharry, Comedy Dave Vitty and Sam Attwater have all been confirmed.
