Kerry Katona has credited her 'Dancing On Ice' partner Daniel Whiston with restoring her confidence.
The reality star was voted off the ITV1 show on Sunday night (20.01.11) after failing to impress with her latest routine, but revealed the experience of working with her "rock" Daniel had made it all worthwhile.
She said: "He's played a big part in me becoming me again. He's been my rock on and off the ice."
Despite admitting she still gets embarrassed about receiving compliments from men, the twice-divorced mum-of-four is hopeful about the prospect of finding true love since leaving the show.
She said: "I'm ready to go out and be dated - well if that's what the kids are calling it these days. I've forgotten what to do. I'd go speed dating for the craic."
Meanwhile, 'Dancing On Ice' judge Jason Gardiner revealed he is delighted by Kerry's exit, as the star- whose career was in ruins before taking part in the show - was only interested in raising her public profile.
He said: "Everybody could see she wasn't up to scratch, she cannot skate. I haven't seen any improvement whatsoever. It has steadily declined. I think she was here for the exposure."
