EastEnders' Kat and Alfie Moon could be set to become parents again sooner than anticipated.
The pint-pulling pair - who are coming to terms with the tragic loss of their baby son Tommy to cot death - are caught by surprise when their old friend Martina Quinn (Tamara Wall) lands on their doorstep with her little girl Shenice.
While the adorable youngster - played by former 'EastEnders' star Lacey Turner's little sister Lily Harvey - will melt the hearts of the couple when she becomes a welcome distraction from the Tommy tragedy, mouthy Kat (Jessie Wallace) will quickly start to doubt Martina's parenting abilities.
Keen to ensure Shenice has the best-possible start in life, Kat and Alfie (Shane Ritchie) could be set to intervene and become a mum again much quicker than she'd ever thought possible.
Meanwhile, with Lily to follow in her older sister's footsteps and make her Albert Square debut next week, it would appear acting talent runs in the family, as Lacey Turner's other younger sibling Daisy has landed a role in Channel 4 soap 'Hollyoaks'.
While show bosses cannot reveal who Daisy Turner will be playing, how long she will be a part of the soap or any of her storylines, they have confirmed the youngster has already begun filming.
