Boston Celtics Beat Golden State Warriors in First Game Back from Break

The Boston Celtics nearly had two players with triple-doubles. Both Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo looked well rested and ready to get back to action after the All Star festivities this weekend. Garnett led the Celtics with 24 points and 12 rebounds. His 6 assists left him 4 shy of a triple-double. Rondo poured in 19 points and 15 assists, he had 6 rebounds leaving him 4 shy of a triple-double as well.

Despite these performances, the game was close until the fourth quarter. The Warriors clawed back to within four points behind Dorell Wright's 19 points and Stephen Curry's 18. When it mattered though the Celtics, who had four players in the All Star game Sunday, were able to charge ahead and take control. They won the game 115-93.
