No trousers on tube

A group of girls in Taiwan celebrated No Trousers Day this week by taking the tube in their underwear.

The strange celebration has caught on around the world and the 20 ladies decided to get in the spirit by taking public transport to work wearing just their knickers on their lower halves.

Event organisers said: "We saw the event in New York and wanted to stage one here - why not?"

The craze first started in New York in 2002 and since has taken off in other cities including London.
