Burglar asks owner for help

A Polish burglar was arrested after he got trapped in the house he was stealing from and asked the owner to let him out.

Drunk Pawel Adamczyk, 27, failed in his attempt to burgle the property when he found he could not squeeze through the gap in the garden fence he came in though because he had too many stolen belongings on him.

He therefore knocked on the door to ask the house owner to show him an easier way out - and unsurprisingly ended up arrested.

The resident, who didn't want to be named, said: "I walloped him and called the cops."
