A Chinese man is convinced a horse knowingly saved his life.
Fu Min, 36, fell and slipped while trying to take a photograph at a race in Anchui, Southern China.
He was about to be trampled by the horses, which were running without riders, when one of the beasts grabbed him with its mouth and threw him clear of the others' hooves.
Fu said: "I stepped out to get a better shot and then a horse knocked me to the ground. I thought I was dead for sure.
"But then another horse snatched my arm in its mouth and dragged me out of the way. I was amazed because I thought it was going to trample me into the ground."
