David Arquette wants to save his marriage to estranged wife Courteney Cox.
The 'Scream 4' actor - whose separation from the former 'Friends' star was announced last October - says he is still in love with Courteney and is keen for them to sort out their problems and move forward with their relationship, but only if she wants to.
David - who has a six-year-old daughter, Coco, with the 46-year-old actress - said: "I'd love for it to work out. We truly love each other with all our hearts. Whether it's as friends or as husband and wife, I know that I'll be with her my whole life.
"I want her to be happy. If me being the best person I can be doesn't make her happy in a partner, in who she needs, whatever she's looking for, that's still to be answered.
"She's my best friend, and I love her with all my heart."
David - who checked out of the Betty Ford clinic, where he underwent rehabilitation treatment for alcoholism, at the end of January - also admitted he was "angry" with Courteney when she told him she wanted to end their 11-year marriage.
Speaking on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', David said: "She came down really depressed one day, and was like 'I'm really just not happy.'
"I felt really sort of abandoned at that point. A deal is a deal. I was angry with the dynamic of our relationship. I was angry with my wife."
