Film about NY York Yankees Wife Swap in the Works

by Daun Lee

Ben Affleck and his brother Casey are working on a script about an infamous case of wife swapping. Two York Yankee baseball players Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson decide to swap their wives in the swinging 70s. Now Ben Affleck would like to team up with Matt Damon and make a film chronicling the unusual relationships. Kekich is attempting to block the filming which would be called “TheTrade” and refuses to cooperate with the Afflecks. Other Yankee team members won’t cooperate with the screenwriters either so the script will take longer than thought. Fritz Peterson is still married to the former Mrs. Kekich, Susan. The marriage between Mike and former Mrs. Peterson Marilyn was short lived.

After the sexual revolution of the sixties swinging became common, effectively dubbing the following decade as the Swinging Seventies. Coupes still swing but the heyday of swingers clubs and parties has ended. Infidelity is a common reason marriages end in divorce. When aided by a divorce attorney divorces initiated because of cheating are rarely contested. Although statistics show men cheat more often than women, it isn’t uncommon for women to go outside their marriages.

Divorce is most often sought out by women with the assistance of their divorce lawyers. Some marriages survive infidelity but numerous spouses have trouble getting over the betrayal. Certain wounds cannot be healed and divorce becomes imminent. Divorce attorneys can advise those thinking of divorce on the proper routes to take.
