Deals at the trade deadline bring new players to teams

The Orlando Magic will play the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder could debut new acquisitions Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson tonight. Perkins gives the Thunder a post presence that may not be able to contain Magic center Dwight Howard, but will surely be a thorn in his side around the basket.
The Detroit Pistons will play in Philadelphia tonight against the 76ers. The game will be interesting after several Pistons players, including Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, skipped the morning shootaround. The Pistons have issued statements as to why the players were not present, but rumors are circulating that it is because the players are fed up with their coach. It will be interesting to see what happens against a 76ers team that has shown promise recently.
Deron Williams starts his time with the New Jersey Nets against the best teams in the league, the San Antonio Spurs. Williams had been having a career year in Utah, and the Nets hope that he will bring some new life and a few more wins to his new team.
The New York Knicks, after enjoying a home game with new forward Carmelo Anthony, are hitting the road to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. The Knicks ought to use this game to try and build chemistry between their two superstars, Anthony and Stoudemire. They face the Miami Heat on Sunday and will want to make a statement against one of the best teams in the East.
