Amanda Beard Sues California Tanning Salon Company ProSun

Olympic champ Amanda Beard has sued a California tanning salon alleging that the company used her name and likeness to promote their products without her permission.

The lawsuit claims that ProSun used Beard’s picture on their Website to “create the impression that Beard endorses ProSun Products.”

A spokesperson for ProSun has reports said the pictures of Beard on the site were taken by the company at a charity event, therefore ProSun can use the photos in any way the wish.

Beard is seeking more than $25,000 in monetary damages.
