Liam Gallagher says he's "got to laugh" when he thinks about Oasis splitting up.
The group parted ways in August 2009 after a bust-up between the singer and his brother, songwriter Noel Gallagher, and even though millions of fans were left devastated, Liam can see the funny side.
He said: "You've got to laugh at it sometimes, you know? I know it means a lot to people, but bands that I liked when I was young split up, you know what I mean, so I understand the pain and that, but you've got to move on.
"No one's dead, there's other things going on in the world. But it's just me and Noel being d***s isn't it, and we've got to grow up, I suppose."
Since Oasis, Noel has taken a break from music to care for his new son Sonny - his second child with his long-term partner Sara MacDonald - while Liam regrouped with the other ex-Oasis members to form new group Beady Eye, who release their debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' today (28.02.11).
Now the LP is out, Liam can't wait to go on tour with his bandmates - Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock.
In an interview with UK station Absolute Radio, the rocker said: "We can't wait to go and play it live. I mean, you take Beady Eye out of the way and that, and there's not much else going on in the music business, I think."
The full interview with Liam will be broadcast tomorrow (01.03.11) on the 'Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show'.
