Hundreds of people were left homeless Sunday when a “mega mudslide” ravaged La Paz, Bolivia. According to reports, a fault stretching some 250 acres caused the mudslide, which affected seven districts.
A spokesman for the La Paz mayor’s official said about 400 homes had been destroyed. At least 4,000 had been affected by the disaster, with at least 800 families being left homeless. Water and electricity were out in certain areas. So far, there have been no reports of injuries or deaths.
