Cruise Ship Runs Aground in Antarctic

The Argentine navy has reported that a cruise ship carrying 122 people has run aground on the Antarctic coast and the vessel was leaking fuel and taking on water.

It is not clear what caused the Ushuaia to run aground in Wilhelmina Bay but a second ship was being sent to accommodate those on board.

There have been no reports of injuries to the 89 passengers or 33 crew members and the cruise ship is not believed to be in danger of sinking.
