Peaches Geldof may struggle with her role as a TV agony aunt as she is rubbish at giving out advice.
The 21-year-old wild child - who has taken an overdose and gone through a divorce - admitted she isn't very "well-placed" to help troubled teens with their problems on new ITV2 six-part series 'OMG! Totally Peaches' because she isn't trained in therapy.
She explained: "I'm not well-placed to help people with their problems because I'm not medically trained. I may have a lot of life experience, but therapy is a job you need to be trained in.
"I wouldn't say that I'm particularly the agony aunt."
However, the socialite - whose father is Boomtown Rats legend Sir Bob Geldof - isn't bothered that people won't take her advice too seriously, as she sees her job on the series as more of a "guiding" role.
Peaches added to new! magazine: "I'm not doling out platitudes to people. I'm just there as someone guiding the show rather than dishing out advice."
'OMG! Totally Peaches' - which also features Radio 1's The Surgery's Aled Haydn Jones and therapist Emma Kenny - starts tomorrow (02.03.11) on ITV2.
