Invites to Kate Middleton's marriage to Britain's Prince William have arrived in her home village.
Residents of Bucklebury in Berkshire, Southern England, have been delighted to be among the reported 1,900 invited to the ceremony, set for April 29, at London's Westminster Abbey.
Local butcher Martin Fidler said: "As soon as I saw ER [Elizabeth Regina] and 'from Buckingham Palace' on the envelope, wow, what a tremendous thing! We're so pleased, so happy, we feel tremendously privileged."
Other ordinary members of public on the guest list include the Shingadia family, who run the local Peach's Stores grocery.
Shopkeeper Hash Shingadia told ITV news: "We were joking with Kate when she used to come in here that if she does get married don't forget to us, send us an invite so I can get my suit dry cleaned.
"I never expected, of all the people I know and all the people we've met, to get an invite!"
Kate's former piano teacher, Daniel Nicholls, hasn't been invited to the wedding, but has composed a musical piece for the royal couple - called 'A Song For Kate (And William)' - which he is hoping will be used at some point in the ceremony.
He said: "I thought I would be nice thing for Bucklebury to have a tribute to Kate with a new piece of music."
Other invitations have been issued to dignitaries and royals from around the world, as well as celebrities, with footballer David Beckham and his wife Victoria reportedly on the list.
