10 Year Old Among Four Dead in Ciudad Juarez Shooting

CNN reports a shooting Monday afternoon in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico left four people, including a 10-year-old, dead. Juarez police spokesman Adrian Sanchez said the motive of the attack is unclear.

Witness said the victims were stopped in a vehicle when a man opened approached and opened fire. Sanchez said the 10-year-old was nearly decapitated in the attack. Two children – a 5-year-old and 16-year-old – were wounded. None of the victims have been identified.

Last week in Ciudad Juarez, a group of armed men looking for a man possibly involved with a drug cartel killed the man’s two children and one other child. The girls were playing in the front yard of a home when they were shot and killed. The girls were 12, 14 and 15 years old.
