“Do It Yourself” to Save Money & Time

New Program Trains Ladies to Resolve RV Technical Issues

A new training program is being added for members, and this time it is designed for women.  Steve Anderson, President/Director of Workamper News, announces the launch of ‘RV Maintenance For Ladies’ to begin on March 3, 2011.  This 12 week online program taught by Evada and Terry Cooper of Mobile RV Academy is designed to teach ladies how to resolve RV technical issues.  “Approximately 80% of all RV maintenance issues are things that we can take care of ourselves.” explains Cooper.

Providing good quality training to the Workamper News members is important to the staff of Workamper News.   Workampers will have a great Workamping experience if they have confidence in their RV while on the road.  Stopping to have their RVs serviced is usually inconvenient and the money saved by servicing their own RV can be substantial.

“We do have a program like this in place for anyone that chooses to learn RV maintenance called the RV Maintenance Gold Star Club,” Anderson explains. However, this one has been created from the viewpoint of a lady.  Evada Cooper knows what it is like to work full-time from an RV and feel clueless.  That is why she is passionate to have every lady learn how their RV works.  When Evada first worked full-time from her RV, she was at the mercy of everyone to come to her rescue.  She remembers times that tears streamed down her face.  After meeting her Knight in Shining Armor—and now husband--Terry Cooper, she has learned the tips and tricks to keep their RV rolling herself! Husband Terry is a master certified RV technician and instructor.  He has been providing consumer and professional tech training for years and enjoys instructing through Workamper University.

“We are fortunate to have the Cooper team instructing our Workampers not only because of their knowledge, but also because of their obvious love of the RVing industry and the Workamper lifestyle,” Anderson adds.  Evada is pleased to be able to teach ladies to take care of RV issues through the eyes of a woman, in their own language and own way of doing things.

Workamping News provides a wealth of training and resources for Workampers.  A Workamper is anyone that lives in an RV and works from it.   One motto of Workamper News is “Experience America, one job at a time.”   Enabling Workampers to be able to take care of many of the maintenance issues that RVers face is important for them to truly enjoy the experience.

Now, female Workampers are encouraged to take part in the new training program, “RV Maintenance For Ladies,” which begins tomorrow, March 3rd, and will end on May 19th. [www.RVMaintenanceForLadies.com]  However, even if someone signs up late and misses one or two sessions, the recorded webinar will be available to participants through the online library of Workamper University.

A Webinar provides participants from all over the country, the ability to connect with a presenter via a computer and/or telephone.  Participants are able to interact with the presenter via a type-chat box or by speaking over a computer microphone or telephone connection.  The advantage of the live webinar is that there is always a time for questions and answers.  Once the webinar is placed in an online library, the participant can always go back to review it online.

To participate in the webinar or to find out more, go to www.RVMaintenanceForLadies.com  or call the Workamper News office at (800) 446-5627 during business hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Central Time.
