Jeff Brazier has revealed the 'Dancing On Ice' contestants will be subjected to a "fantastic twist" this weekend.
The 31-year-old TV presenter - who is partnered alongside professional skater Isabelle Gauthier in the ITV1 show - explained the celebrity competitors will be split into two teams for a group skate-off, which he is thrilled about.
Writing in the Daily Mirror newspaper, Jeff said: "There is also going to be a fantastic twist this week, we've been put into two groups and we will skate together in a group number with the best team gaining an advantage in the voting, so it's more likely a member of the losing team will be eliminated.
"The teams are myself and Isabelle, Laura and Colin and Denise and Matt and we will be taking on Sam and Brianne, Chloe and Michael and Johnson and Jodene. And seeing that I've played team sports all my life this is the twist I was waiting for!"
Meanwhile, Denise Welch has hit back at famously acid-tongued 'Dancing On Ice' judge Jason Gardiner for suggesting she was only being put through by the public each week because of "sympathy votes".
The 52-year-old 'Loose Women' presenter retaliated: "Jason will never know what it's like to have so much public support. Maybe he's getting the green-eyed monster!
"I'm not doing it for the judges anymore. I'm doing it for the people at home enjoying an old biddy on the ice."
