Charlie Sheen claims he has reached an agreement with Brooke Mueller over their custody battle.
The estranged couple - who were thought to be fighting each other for access to their 23-month-old twins Bob and Max - have reportedly reached a "verbal" agreement which will allow them to avoid a court appearance next Monday (07.03.11).
Writing on his twitter account, Charlie said: "not sure what all the legal noise is about... just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay.yet the opposition felt it necessary to still harass me with old gibberish.... odd? perhaps. transparent? you betcha'! (sic)"
Earlier this week Brooke - Charlie's third wife, who split from him at the end of 2009 following a domestic incident - submitted a declaration to Los Angeles Superior Court claiming the 'Two and a Half Men' star took their sons from her home without permission on February 26.
Judge Hank M. Goldberg stripped Charlie of his custody rights and imposed a separate restraining order which doesn't allow him to communicate with Brooke - who herself is in day treatment for substance abuse problems - or be allowed within 100 yards of her or his sons.
Police arrived at Charlie's Beverly Hills home to remove the boys on Tuesday night (01.02.11).
