NFL Scores Week 14: Chicago Bears Stay in Playoff Picture with Win Over Jacksonville Jaguars

Kyle Orton threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns, Greg Olsen had 52 yards receiving and a TD and Matt Forte collected 69 yards on the ground as the Chicago Bears (7-6) kept their playoff hopes alive with a 23-10 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-9) on Sunday.

Orton put the Bears on the board in the first quarter as he hit Desmond Clark on a 2-yard touchdown pass for a 7-0 advantage. Jacksonville cut their deficit to 7-3 after Josh Scobee kicked a 42-yard field goal but Robbie Gould connected on a pair of field goals and Orton hit Olsen on a 22-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the second quarter and the Bears carried a 20-3 lead into halftime.

Neither team could put points up in the third quarter but the Jaguars climbed to within 20-10 in the fourth after David Garrard hit Maurice Jones-Drew on a 4-yard toss but Gould countered with his third field goal of the game and the Bears defense did the rest.
