Jeff Brazier is "gutted" to have been left off the 'Dancing On Ice' tour.
The 31-year-old TV presenter - who is partnered alongside Isabelle Gauthier on the ITV1 show - had been looking forward to appearing in the live tour following the completion of the series, but was devastated to hear organisers hadn't included him in the line-up.
He said: "For five months I have worked hard to skate to a decent level. I remember when I couldn't even stand up. I thought it would be impossible to go backwards, let alone twizzle and mohawk!
"I love having a motivation in life and throughout the whole of this experience I didn't suppose I'd get anywhere, but my ultimate target was to earn the right to feature in this year's 'Dancing On Ice Tour'.
"Imagine how gutted I was, then, when I was told I hadn't been chosen for the tour. I foolishly assumed that if I had proven myself competent enough, polite enough, hardworking and a fast learner, I would have a chance."
However, the dad of two - who has two children, Bobby, seven, and Freddy, six, with the late Jade Goody - is more determined than ever to secure a top three place in the competition, and win an automatic place in the 'Dancing On Ice' tour line-up.
Writing on his blog for MSN Celebrity, he added: "The organisers have, however, offered me a lifeline so that I might still sneak on the tour.
"It's a long shot and no, it's not to take the job of the tour bus driver, but if I finish in the top three it is written in my contract that I automatically qualify for the tour so that is what I must do. I'm going to train extra hard and not give the judges any reason to dismiss my performances and then my fate rests in the hands of the voting public!"
