Britain's Prince Harry has pulled out of a planned trip to Dubai amid political turmoil in the region.
The 26-year-old royal - who is third in line to the throne - has been forced to postpone a planned visit to the Middle Eastern emirate due to increasing political unrest within the United Arab Emirates (UAE), following a wave of democracy protests in the region.
However, Harry is said to be "really disappointed" at the cancellation of the trip, as he was due to play in a polo tournament on March 19, which was hoped to raise some £1 million for his African Aids charity Sentable.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Harry is really disappointed. That's £1million that could have been raised.
"He is going to try and organise something else, maybe at a tournament somewhere else."
Harry - who already lends his patronage to eight charities, including Sentable - recently announced plans to become patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust from next year onwards.
John Disley, who co-founded the marathon and the trust said: "Prince Harry will be a fantastic patron as we move into our fourth decade."
