Jesse J fears some of her fans will have "heart attacks" when they meet her.
The 'Do It Like A Dude' singer is always happy to speak to her admirers when she is out in public but worries about how excited some of them get.
She told UK station BBC Radio 1: "I've literally had young girls who look like they're gonna have heart attacks and panic attacks when they've met me. I get all like, 'Really? You should see me in the morning babe.'
"But I love meeting the fans who make it possible for me to be able to do what I do."
Jesse admits one of the drawbacks of stardom is not being able to go anywhere without being recognised.
The 22-year-old pop star also struggles with the workload because she seems to spend most of her time doing things that aren't music related.
She explained: "I used to just love sitting at the airport and write songs about people and watching people while I was walking down the street but now I can't because my face is everywhere. But I do like it (being famous), but you spend so much time doing everything other that what you do. I'm a singer but most of my days are filled with interviews and talking."
