Nate Robinson to Miss 4-6 Weeks With Thunder

Celtics Transplant Undergoes Surgery

Nate Robinson, who was traded from the Boston Celtics to the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 24th, will be missing four to six weeks with his new team after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. According to Thunder general manager Sam Presti, the 5'9 guard first experienced discomfort in his knee after a practice on Monday. Robinson and the team's medical team decided that surgery was the best option.

Robinson, who was a fan favorite in Boston and an important back-up for star point guard Rajon Rondo, made his debut for the Thunder on Wednesday, scoring six points in 8 minutes. His quick feet and dynamic playing style will almost surely prove to be a good fit for the young Thunder team.
