Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy has declared he will return to Austin for his senior year, ending speculation that the junior would enter the NFL Draft.
McCoy was recently named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year as he threw for 3303 yards and 32 touchdowns on the year and led the Longhorns in rushing with 576 yards and 10 TDs.
Texas just missed a shot at playing for the BCS national championship as the Oklahoma Sooners edged the Longhorns in the BCS rankings. Despite beating the Sooners 45-35 the Longhorns finished third in the BCS rankings.
The Longhorns will now face the #10 Ohio State Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, AZ on January 5.
