Johnny Depp wants to play a Liverpudlian character.
The 47-year-old actor worked alongside Stephen Graham - who hails from the North West English city - on 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4' and enjoyed mimicking the British star's accent, which is known as Scouse.
Stephen said: "Johnny Depp was brilliant to work with. He's such a lovely guy, so down-to-earth.
"Johnny's great at the Scouse accent too. It might turn up in one of his characters soon.
'Gangs of New York' actor Stephen loved the experience of working on the forthcoming swashbuckling Disney adventure, particularly because of the dramatic way his appearance was changed.
He explained: "I had such a giggle on that job. I looked more like a roadie than a rock star though. I've got long hair and a scar on my face."
Stephen, 37, also admitted he loves playing "darker" characters and finds romantic lead roles boring.
He said: "I've got a wife and two kids so I'm a soppy f**ker at home. But I'm never going to be Mr. Darcy am I? I actually find those types of character boring.
"So it's great to play interesting people, with that darkness deep inside them."
