Katy Perry has been named as the face of ghd.
The 'Firework' singer is the hair styling brand's new global ambassador and will promote a range of products - including their sought-after hair straighteners - in a new campaign, shot by renowned photographer David LaChapelle.
The iconic British brand has also signed to become an International Tour Sponsor for Katy's forthcoming 'California Dreams 2011' tour, and plans to involve its talented professional hair stylist ambassadors in concert-related events throughout the world.
