The 18 year old Disney sensation Demi Lovato speaks to fans about her time in a rehab facility. The star entered a facility last fall after she punched back up dancer on the Jonas Brothers tour. Lavato didn’t enter rehab for drug problems instead stating she had self-esteem issues and was cutting herself. She continually kept fans abreast of her recovery via Twitter and thanked them for their support. Kudos should be given to the young lady for her decision and the wisdom to seek out help before her problems got worse.
Though Lovato didn’t need drug counseling many other celebrities and everyday people enter rehab for problem with drugs and alcohol. Although many people enter rehab voluntarily it often takes a serious event like a DUI and their DUI attorneys to push many individuals into rehab. Dependence on drugs and alcohol is a serious problem for so many people; they often get into trouble before they see they have a problem. Many times this trouble comes in the form of drunk or drugged driving.
As it is a severe problem, the courts are decidedly strict on those who drive under the influence. When employed a DUI lawyer can be an asset to those who face charges of impaired driving. Going to rehab is one step for those who need to end their dependence on drugs or alcohol. For those who don’t get help they may be forced to recover in a jail cell unless they employ a DUI attorney
