NFL Week 15 Power Rankings ESPN: Tennessee Titans Knock New York Giants from Top Spot, Pittsburgh Steelers Hold Strong
The Week 15 NFL Power Rankings from ESPN are out and the Tennessee Titans are back atop the list after blasting the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and locking up the AFC South. The Titans knocked the New York Giants down to number two after the NFC East champs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in a humbling loss on Sunday.
Despite being outplayed for more than three and a half quarters the Pittsburgh Steelers put together a phenomenal close to their Sunday showdown with the Dallas Cowboys and picked up a win to keep them at #3 this week.
Jumping up a spot to #4 are the Carolina Panthers who took sole possession of first place in the NFC South after their Monday night win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers are still in a fight with the Giants for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs but they still work to do before they punch their ticket to the post season.
A six-game winning streak has shot the Indianapolis Colts up to #5 in the Week 15 NFL Power Rankings and while they couldn’t catch the Titans in the AFC South they still have gone from 3-4 to 9-4 and jumped from #18 in Week 9 to their #5 spot this week.
