Cattle smells canned

Cans containing the smell of cow farts are being sold in Germany.

The $8 tins are filled with air sucked from a wooden stable, lined with straw and then filled with gas produced by cattle to remind customers of the authentic smell of the countryside.

Bavarian-born Daniela Dorrer, who designed the unusual product, said: "We hope to make people who miss the countryside happy and remind them of home.

"We are planning other smells such as horse, straw, pigs and manure. But most people miss the smell of the cows in the country, not really surprising as much of the smell is from cows."
