Juliette Lewis has joined the cast of indie thriller 'Hick'.
While it is not yet known which part the 37-year-old actress will take in the movie, she will be co-starring alongside the likes of 'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively and 'Kick Ass' actress Chloe Moretz, who are to portray a drug-addicted mother and her 13-year-old daughter.
Andrea Portes has written the script based on her debut novel 'Hick', with Derick Martini set to direct the film, which will see Chloe's character get more than she bargained for when she runs away to Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, 'Cape Fear' star Juliette has also signed up to appear in a supporting role in new thriller 'A Single Shot' - starring Emily Mortimer, Juno Temple, William H. Macy and Alessandro Nivola - which follows the story of a man who accidentally kills a woman while on a deer-poaching expedition.
However, while the protagonist is attempting to cover up his crime, he comes across a sack containing money and encounters a killer who's after the cash.
Juliette has had mixed success at the box office - despite starring smashes including 'Natural Born Killers' and 'From Dusk Till Dawn', she has also taken roles in less successful pictures including 'The Switch' with Jennifer Aniston.
