Today’s controversy surrounds Michaele Salahi who once starred on the reality on ‘Real Housewives of DC’, but was cast on ‘Celebrity Rehab’ for the shows fourth season. Michaele was let go because she doesn’t have an addiction to drugs and after evaluation. Her manager maintains that VH-1 knew she didn’t have a drug addiction and breached her contract by letting her go.

For many celebrities and everyday people going to rehab is a troubling time and a serious endeavor. The fact the Salahi entered a rehab show without having a serious issue with drugs or alcohol seems like a slap in the face for people are struggling with a very real problem. Entering a rehab facility is often, but not always court ordered for those who get DUI’s and recommended by DUI attorneys. When a person gets a DUI they are sometimes struggling with drug and alcohol problems and rehab is a way to save them from harming themselves or others.

Excessive drug or alcohol uses can reduce a person’s ability to make sound decisions and they may drive while under the influence and will surely need a DUI lawyer. On our roads there is a serious problem with drunken or drugged driving, risking the safety of other drivers, a matter the courts take very seriously. The expertise of a DUI attorney is a necessity for those facing DUI charges.
