Tericka Dye went From Porn Star to Teacher

The 38 year old volley ball coach and Science teacher resigned from her teaching position in St Louis. A student discovered her past as porn star Rikki Andersin, she decided to resign once the truth was revealed. As a young woman, Dye found herself in California after a stint in the military. In order to survive she decided to star in pornos. This is the second time in her teaching career that Dye has left her teaching position. The first time was in 2006. She once appeared on the ‘Dr Phil Show’ to talk about her life.

Life as former porn star would put anyone in a position of being morally scrutinized by fellow teachers and parents as well as making her a target of uninvited sexual innuendos and jokes. In the workplace when a peer or superior makes references to another’s sexuality or physical attributes it can be perceived as harassment. The perception that people who are paid for having sex on camera have no morals can put them in a position where other’s may not respects their rights. Sexual harassment is a problem in the workplace which can be alleviated with a sexual harassment attorney and former sex-workers could be easier targets for harassment based on their past.

A person who is harassed on the job should hire a sexual harassment lawyer to defend their rights. No one, no matter what they have done in the past should have to suffer sexual harassment and an experienced sexual harassment lawyer can be an advocate.
