Chris Bosh Voices His Concerns

Miami Heat Forward Has Some Concerns

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh would like to get the basketball more, particularly in the low post area. That seemed to be one of the key points that Bosh wanted to make during a recent postgame interview.

During a postgame news conference on Tuesday night, Bosh was asked if he was not getting the ball enough or where he would like to get the ball. Bosh replied, "It's common sense... I think it's evident... I just have to get it where I'm effective, you know, I'm a big man. I can shoot the ball, but I'm a big man. So, I have to get it where big guys get it, and... then I feel that I can start helping this team more... I'm effective down in the low post area, so that's where I need to start getting the ball."

When asked if he would feel comfortable asking his teammates or coach Erik Spoelstra for the ball more, Bosh said, "Well, yeah, because I'm uncomfortable now... if I don't feel comfortable about something, it's nothing but a conversation." But according to a report from ESPN.com, Bosh did not adress his concerns with the team or Spoelstra during a team practice on Wednesday.

Spoelstra seemed somewhat dismissive of Bosh's comments, saying on Tuesday, "I think our minds were cluttered last night... Today, it wasn't about talk. It was about working and practicing... We need more paint opportunities, not just from Chris, but from all of our guys working together."

LeBron James says that he would be fine with Bosh asking for the ball more. "Chris can always voice his opinion," said James. "If Chris wants the ball then he can ask for it and he can get it. If Chris wants the ball and wants to be more aggressive and wants to be more inserted into the offense, all he has to do is ask for it. When's he's productive, we're a better team."

The Heat lost their fifth straight game on Tueday by losing 96-105 to the Portland Trail Blazers. On Thursday, the Heat will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers. According to a report from ESPN.com, Bosh has said that he will address his concerns before that game.
