I'm A Gypsy ... Get Me Out Of Here!

'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings' star Paddy Doherty is being lined up to appear in 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

ITV1 bosses are said to be keen to snap up the Irish-born traveller to feature on the 10th anniversary series of the jungle show in a bid to boost ratings.

However, with Paddy believed to be unhappy with the way his community were portrayed on Channel 4's 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings' - which drew in average viewing figures of eight million per episode - appearing on the reality series could give him the chance to set the record straight on gypsy life.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "We want this to be the most explosive series ever.

"It's a win-win combination. The star of Channel 4's biggest show appearing in one of ITV's biggest and longest-running reality series. ITV know a good thing when they see it."

While it was initially believed former 'I'm A Celeb' stars - including the likes of Katie Price, Kerry Katona and Tony Blackburn - would feature in the 10th anniversary series, ITV1 bosses now think those who have already appeared on the show will be too "savvy" about the gruesome Bushtucker Trials, and won't make entertaining enough viewing.

Producers have now drawn up a list of some of the world's biggest stars - including troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, Hollywood hellraiser Charlie Sheen and shamed fashion designer John Galliano - who they are hoping will agree to feature in the jungle programme.
