Happiest man named

The happiest man in America has been named.

Alvin Wong, 65, is a Chinese-American married Jew who lives in Hawaii.

After taking part in a Gallup Well-Being Index survey which asked questions about his emotional status, diet, health, stress levels, income and other indicators he was told his profile watched a statistical composite for the happiest person in America.

He said: "My life philosophy is, if you can't laugh at yourself, life is going to be pretty terrible for you."
