Robber caught out by pee

A Swedish robber was jailed after leaving bottles of his own urine in the bank vault he'd hidden in for three days.

The unnamed 27-year-old man relieved himself in the containers after he snuck in on a Friday and stayed there until the following Monday.

He and an accomplice stole around $485,000 in cash and jewellery during the hide-out and surprised bank staff by jumping out and running away when they opened the vault.

However the bodily deposits he left behind ensured police could track him after getting DNA samples from the bottles - and he received a 21-month prison sentence.

His accomplice still hasn't been caught.
