Matt Cardle refuses to share with One Direction

Matt Cardle refuses to share a dressing room with One Direction on 'The X Factor' tour.

The 27-year-old singer - who won the ITV1 talent show last year - admitted he can't cope with the hyperactive behaviour of the teen boy band, and has demanded to be separated from the group.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Two shows a day is quite knackering and full on. I got there and they told me all of the male winners previously had had their own dressing rooms. But I was like 'No, I'm the same as them, I don't want my own dressing room'.

"But then one show with One Direction running around screaming their heads off and I said, 'Get me my own dressing room'. Not because I was being precious, but because I'm on last and have to wait the longest. When they're coming off stage all crazy, I'm just trying to warm my voice up."

The 'When We Collide' hitmaker also explained he and fellow contestant, eccentric Brazilian Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, have now settled their differences after coming head to head on a number of occasions in the 'X Factor' house.

Matt said: "Wagner and I obviously had our differences on the show but we've kissed and made up. Not literally, of course - but we've definitely made up."
