Despite the best efforts of Howard Stern, Manhattan’s famous strip club Scores will be shutting its doors for good by the end of the year.
Scores has been a fixture in Manhattan’s night life since 1991 and had been the target of FBI raids and tax evasion indictments. Stern made it a point to mention Scores on his radio show, “The Howard Stern Show” and often had dancers from the club as guests.
Co-owner of Scores, Elliot Osher, said the club would be closing do to the weak economy but new owners would take over the spot and introduce a new club.
