Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford was presented the Davey O’Brien Award on Tursday night as the nation’s top play caller beating out Texas Longhorns QB Colt McCoy and Texas Tech Red Raiders QB Graham Harrell.
Bradford threw for 4464 yards and 48 touchdowns while being intercepted just six times in leading the Sooners to a Big 12 title and a berth to the BCS national championship game where they will face the Florida Gators.
Bradford is also up for the Heisman Trophy which will be presented on Saturday night. He will be joined by McCoy and Florida QB Tim Tebow.
