Shonn Greene Wins Doak Walker Award as Nation’s Top Rusher

Iowa junior running back Shonn Greene was presented with the Doak Walker Award on Thursday night as the nation’s top rusher, topping Georgia Bulldogs RB Knowshon Moreno and Michigan State Spartans RB Javon Ringer.

Greene collected 1729 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year while averaging 144 yards per game.

Greene will be in action on January 1 when Iowa faces South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
