Texas Tech Red Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree was presented with the Biletnikoff Award on Thursday night, recognizing the sophomore as the nation’s top receiver. Crabtree beat out Oklahoma State Cowboys WR Dez Bryant and Missouri Tigers WR Jeremy Maclin to become the first player to ever take the award twice.
Crabtree had 93 receptions and 18 touchdowns on the year while averaging 94.6 yards per game.
Crabtree will be back on the field when Texas Tech faces Mississippi in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2.
