Britain's Prince Harry is being sent to the US for special weapons training.
The third-in-line to the British throne has recently qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot after 10 months and has now been selected for special training at a US experimental combat weapons base in Arizona, where he will learn how to operate the machine's missiles.
A Clarence House aide told The Sun: "He's spent 10 months learning how to fly an Apache and now he has to learn how to fight in it."
Although Harry has impressed with his determination to succeed as a pilot, he has been warned that operating the weaponry -such as Hellfire missiles and laser-guided canons - while flying the Apache, is a difficult job.
A senior aide said: "It's a lot to take in and he'll be doing this at the same time as he's flying the helicopter and doing his best not to get himself and his co-pilot shot down."
A course graduate added: 'You only really know how good you are in an Apache when you're being hunted by pilots in two other Apaches just like yours."
