maniaTV Acquires New Talent, Expands into Executive Offices

Network Signs C-Level Executives from Joost and National Lampoon as well as new management from Disney, Paramount, NBC and G4TV

maniaTV, a leading independent provider of original, made-for-web television today announced a series of new hires that will bolster its distribution, sales and technological capabilities. In addition, the network, which recently underwent reorganization, has opened a 7,500 square foot executive office space adjacent to their production studios in Los Angeles.

As part of a recent reorganization, maniaTV added two C-Level executives and four director level positions. Among the new members of the executive team, Daniel Paul is now the VP of Business Development. Paul was formerly VP of Content Acquisition and Strategy at Joost and served as VP of New Media for Turner Broadcasting’s Home Entertainment Group. The network also hired Michael Klein as VP of Sales. Klein, formerly head of sales at National Lampoon will oversee maniaTV sales offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and the West Coast.  maniaTV also hired Chris Sniffen as National Sales Director. Sniffen was Director of Sales at JumpTV and Business Development Manager at NBC in New York City prior to accepting maniaTV’s NYC-based post.
 
In addition, maniaTV also hired Stephen Przybylowski, formerly a manager at G4TV, as the Director of Content Operations and Andrea Chu as Director of Content Distribution. Chu was formerly the Director of Development at Paramount Pictures via the Sean Daniel Company and Alphaville Productions. She is responsible for the strategic distribution of the network’s gaming, music, and comedy content.  To round out the new talent acquisitions, Ron Lucero formerly a web develop manager at Disney and Disney Mobile signed on as Director of Software and Website Development.
