Ryan Murphy is not yet part of the "team" for the 'Annie' remake starring Willow Smith.
The 'Glee' director was recently named as a possibility to take the reins on the project - to be produced by Willow's parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith - but Jada has confessed his involvement is not definite as they are still "putting the project together".
Asked about Ryan being a director on the musical movie at the launch of Sony Entertainment Television - which hits UK TV Channel 157 on April 7 - Jada told BANG Showbiz: "We're not sure yet. There's not much to tell you because we are still putting the project together, putting the feelers out there and figuring out what our team is going to be.
"But I will say we are very excited about it and we are working very hard and diligently to figure out the proper team for this particular project and our overall vision. Right now that is what we are focusing on."
Although Jada refused to give further details about the film, it is thought rap mogul Jay-Z is on board to work on the music of the movie - based on the classic movie about a bright-haired orphan girl who discovers a new home.
