Solar Velocity, an award-winning digital marketing agency, announced today the hiring of Atlantan native Jeffery S. Smith to fill the position of Senior Mission Controller.
“We think Jeff is going to fit right into the amazing team we’ve got here at Solar Velocity,” said the agency’s CEO, Jason Swenk. “His combination of experience and vision will only improve our ability to provide innovative work to our clients.”
Mr. Smith brings more than 16 years of experience in the information technology and marketing fields to the Atlanta-based interactive agency. Over the years his development projects have earned a variety of industry awards including the Davey and the coveted Webby.
After having held a variety of senior-level management positions at competing agencies, Mr. Smith is poised to provide expert level knowledge and support for existing and new client project management, as well as provide technical scope for internal vision, project design and campaign oversight. He will work closely and collaboratively with the various internal departments of Solar Velocity to develop and troubleshoot projects.
Mr. Smith earned a master’s degree in technical communications from Southern Polytechnic University and a graduate certificate in I.T. project management from Georgia Institute of Technology. In his spare time Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, coaching little league soccer and riding his bicycle.
