Drew Barrymore is set to direct romantic comedy 'How to Be Single'.
The 'Going the Distance' star - who is dating art consultant Will Kopelman and has been married twice - will helm and produce the project with Nancy Juvonen.
It is expected to have a feel similar to 'He's Just Not That In To You' and 'Valentine's Day' with a large ensemble cast and a multi-layered story about the love lives of a number of New Yorkers over 10 years.
No stars have yet been announced.
The movie is an adaptation of the novel of the same title by Liz Tuccillo, and has been written for the big screen by 'Never Been Kissed' writers Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn.
It is not 36-year-old Drew's first foray into filmmaking - she previously directed roller derby project 'Whip It' starring Ellen Page and Kristen Wiig in 2009.
She has taken a step back from in front of the camera recently, but is set to star in environmental movie 'Everybody Loves Whales' in 2012.
