Bradley Cooper realised his marriage "wasn't right" very quickly after tying the knot.
The 'Limitless' star tied the knot with actress Jennifer Esposito in December 2006, but she filed for divorce just four months later, but the 36-year-old hunk insists there is no hard feelings between him and his former spouse.
He said: "It was just something that happened. The good thing is, we both realised it . Sometimes you just realise it.
"It just wasn't right. It's interesting . things happen!"
The 36-year-old actor - who is now dating Renee Zellweger - also laughed off claims the experience has put him off marriage for good.
He told Sirius FM DJ Howard Stern: "Making any declarative statement like that is a joke."
While Bradley - who did reveal the wedding ring he has been sporting recently belonged to his late father - avoided most questions about his current girlfriend, he spoke about how they first met on the set of their film 'Case 39' six years ago.
He jokingly added: "Then I didn't see her for a long time. I got married..."
The 'Hangover' star also admitted he was never a hit with women when he was younger.
He admitted: "I didn't lose my virginity until I was 17."
