Boy launches man candles

A 13-year-old boy has launched a range of candles scented with 'manly' smells in the US.

Hart Main's waxy products are designed to appeal to the tougher end of the market, giving off smells of bacon, pizza, sawdust and even the aroma of a fresh leather baseball glove.

The inventive teen said he got the idea for his 'Mancans' from his sister who sold girly candles for a school fundraiser.

He made them using empty tins of soup he donated to a soup kitchen and has so far sold 500 - and says he will use the profit to buy himself a new bicycle.
